Early 1900's Pretty little girls from Antique tinted photographs.Bird cages, grapes, bunches of flowers and a parasol are featured

Welcome back and so glad you found me to new visitors.
Setting days aside for a particular theme seems to be going well. Especially the holiday schedule. You can find;
Christmas on Mondays
Halloween on Wednesday until the end of October
Thanksgiving on Thursdays during November
New years and party beginning in December. These are harder to find but I will do my best.
In this post there are sweet little girls on antique photographic postcards. Some are tinted all very cute. Circa early 1900's. The first is fitting as Napa and Sonoma Counties are in the middle of harvesting grapes for the years new wines. "Crush" as it is called has a unique aroma. The grape pulp is put back into the fields around the vines which is one reason for the distinctive smell.
Your comments are so fun to read. Thank you for taking the time to let me know I am finding what you like.
All my images are free for your personal use. Bumble button is an advertisement free blog. As you no doubt have discovered this blog is about the pictures and not my writing and grammar!!
So have fun using the images in your many projects.
Much love to you all, Louise

Free clip art Antique bicycle graphics and "That husband of yours!" advertisement.

 Welcome to you all.
Another beautiful day in sunny California. The weather has been on the cool side for August which makes me very happy. More mundane chit chat. I have a new mouse in the house. It is wireless and it is a dream. Why did I put up with the frustrating and temperamental old one for so long??!! Finally it died. I was having computer and blog withdrawal with in the first 24  hours.Thank goodness Target had one on sale that was wireless. I couldn't plug it in fast enough.

One thing that turns up with regularity in postcards and ads of the late 1890 is the bicycle.  There is a wealth of images to share with you. That is the theme of the day.
Right click for larger images if it is avaliable.
This headline is catching to say the least!

Forgive me but I just had to include this.

Riding in the snow?

I just love this one. Such a sweet little boy.

Do not try this at home!  Isn't this one funny.

My new doo-dad for the end of my posts

Ballet dancers from late 1800's. Antique postcard to enjoy and use in collage art work.

Hi everyone!! So glad you have stopped by for a visit.
After finding so many great images I am anxious to share them with you all.
What should be the theme for this post... hmm.
Ballet dancers! All the pictures are from antique postcards. A few are pre 1900.

Just love the red dress.

English circa?

I just do not think of a ballerina smoking! Then I remembered one time at the airport, a group of incredible looking men waiting outside the terminal. It turned out they were ballet dancers from Russia and they were all smoking. After such a long flight they probably needed a cigarette!  It was a real treat seeing and talking to them.
I really like this post for some reason and hope you do too. Have fun using them in your projects.
Much love, Louise

Ready for more! Maybe it is because I did not blog for awhile but I am going crazy.. Anyway if you like late Victorian clothing for children, babies and ladies you will enjoy this post. Inspiration for doll clothing too. The images are from ladies magazines from late 1890's early 1900's. Lots of details for costume or reproduction sewing. Of course for using for your clip art needs, all for free. Please enjoy and create something beautiful, Love Louise

Antique,Vintage, tinted and painted photographs and postcards of little girls. Babies in a nest! Early 1900's free to use

Hi and welcome. Thank you for your kind comments. It is wonderful to hear that you like the images. More and more of you visit every day and new followers! What more could a blogging gal want. No adds and free use of images for all of you as your comments continue to inspire me.
Today is old vintage and antique picture postcard day. All sweet little children posing for pictures long ago but still being seen and used by so many. This sweet little Asian girl is so precious. I do not know what country she is from but I just love her.
Isn't this hysterical!! Three little "bird's" in a nest. How they got these kids to stay still for the picture is amazing. Looks so scratchy and uncomfortable. Three little bird's in a nest

Seems like I already posted this but .. here it is anyway!

Thought someone might like this one because it has brother & sister. Also the tinting or painting is unusual with the yellow boys sailor suit.

Another darling little girl.

It is so easy to come up with different caption because of her expression. Lots of different colors! That green on the table leg and her hair are very 1920-30.
Last but not least, a Victorian little girl with her dolls. I just love this one.
Enjoy them all and make lots of pretty things with them. Much love as always to everyone of you, Louise
