Early 1900's Pretty little girls from Antique tinted photographs.Bird cages, grapes, bunches of flowers and a parasol are featured

Welcome back and so glad you found me to new visitors.
Setting days aside for a particular theme seems to be going well. Especially the holiday schedule. You can find;
Christmas on Mondays
Halloween on Wednesday until the end of October
Thanksgiving on Thursdays during November
New years and party beginning in December. These are harder to find but I will do my best.
In this post there are sweet little girls on antique photographic postcards. Some are tinted all very cute. Circa early 1900's. The first is fitting as Napa and Sonoma Counties are in the middle of harvesting grapes for the years new wines. "Crush" as it is called has a unique aroma. The grape pulp is put back into the fields around the vines which is one reason for the distinctive smell.
Your comments are so fun to read. Thank you for taking the time to let me know I am finding what you like.
All my images are free for your personal use. Bumble button is an advertisement free blog. As you no doubt have discovered this blog is about the pictures and not my writing and grammar!!
So have fun using the images in your many projects.
Much love to you all, Louise

Little Girls and their dogs,a Saint Bernard,Pug Borzoi Dachund. Victorian Paintings and tinted photograph. Free clip art.

Aside from not getting the things done that need to be done I had a fun day. My three sisters and I are planning my moms 80th birthday party for next March. It has been so much fun talking and brain storming. We all bring something different to the table and so far it has been a blast.Margie,Cathy and Lynn all live close to each other in So.Cal. So I am the out of town'er. Lynn is in charge of decorating and called me long distance so we "shopped" together on her cell phone. Cathy is so fun and is coming up with so many ideas. She keeps things moving which I need! My contribution is to make a special family gift full of memorable events in my mom's life.
Just in the itty bitty chance my mom reads this I will always refer to it  as "the project". When it is done I will reveal it to all of you. There is no way this project and its progress could not be mentioned on my blog.  Thought you should be warned:)!
Oh my gosh. I need to find pictures of birthday parties!  Something new to search for!
Now some images for dog lovers. That's an easy and appropriate theme to follow the cat post! The pictures feature Saint Bernards, Dachshund Borzoi and  Pug breeds. One breed I don't recognise.

Thanks for visiting and following my little blog.
Much love to you all, Louise!

1900's children's book illustration and shoe.Antique Tinted photograph, Frame etc...Free Clip Art

  Dear visitors and followers, welcome!
Were have I been you may wonder. Just sick and cranky! Today I actually feel better.Since I have not posted for so long this post is rich with lots of pretty pictures.
Do you know about swap playing cards? I have just discovered them! In an old scrap book, late 1930's, there are pages of single playing cards pasted inside. Originally I thought it was a fun hobby my aunt did. Now I have found out that these are collectible and people still collect single swap playing cards. Isn't that fun! They are very securely glued onto the pages and I am not really sure how to best remove them. I soaked a test one in water and it worked but I do not want to ruin some of the other cards. Any suggestions?
I just love those decorated little match boxes so I hunted around and found a little box that has a drawer. It has to have a drawer. So glad I did not throw it away! It is going through it's make over and hopefully will turn out nicely.

I love the mountains! This reminds me of Glacier National Park in Montana. It has been a very long time since my last camping trip. Might not be so easy to sleep in a tent at this point! I am much slower at getting up.

Isn't this lovely. turn of the century illustration.
When I came across this shoe I just had to post it. It was in excellent shape and so pretty and feminine.

Well there you have it. New pics for your scrap booking, ATC and collage projects. Have fun and enjoy creating. Much love as always Louise

Images for clip art Little girl putting hat on dog,1700's clothing,Painted photographs, Turn of the century romantic couple

Hi everyone, hope all my visitors and followers are happy as can be. It was so nice to have the sunlight coming in my window this afternoon. My cold and cough  are hanging on way to long. I can't remember ever having something for almost a month. Much better than before but not 100% yet.
lululiz in lalaland  has the cutest little match boxes. They have been decorated in fun creative ways. I love little things, they are right up my alley. And they had buttons in them! I want one too!
Today there are 9 new pictures for you. Most are from antique or vintage postcards.

This just appeals to me. Of course there is a sleigh and I always like lots of contrast between the figure and the light snowy background. I would guess she is a lady of the late 1700's based on her dress.

This picture really evokes a pleasant spring day to me.

Another romantic picture with contrast. Early 1900's.

A day at the races.

To to cute!

Flowers for the day. Love these pretty tulips.

A couple of little darlings.
Oh you all make my day! It is still so fun to post images for you. Enjoy the creating. Much love, Louise
