   Hi and welcome to visitors and my followers!
   Today was an actual a craft day for me. I am trying to make a bracelet out of baby shell buttons. Shell buttons that still have their luster are like pearls to me. The itty bitty baby ones are beyond cute. I have tried to polish older ones with baby oil. It works except for really old and scratch ones. In the future I'd like to decorate a purse and a throw pillow. When I visit other blogs it amazes me at how prolific some of you crafty creative ones are!
    Looking into files for something fun to post resulted in this potpourri.

  Today feels like an old photos day. It is cloudy and cold. Cold is relative depending on where you live! A much needed call to my Aunt Annette was the best way to start the day. She is in her early 80's and is in the many family photographs starting in 1927. My grandmother was born in 1903 and she kept a few small photo albums that document 1918-1923 plus some other pics.  It is funny how they dressed for the beach and for mountain treks. Many of the fashions worn by her and her friends are not very flattering! It is really a bygone era. The young men are in navy uniforms so I guess she had a beau or two that were sailors.

Well, I have been or rather have not been blogging for such a long time!! My apologies to all my followers and friends.Today I am back and hopefully will not take such a long break.  A new year and lots of new projects to make. I have been so busy doing nothing!!

Today I brought bags of stuff to my favorite consignment store in Sonoma,Calif.  Plain Jane's is so fun and it is very hard to not buy something. A woman actually stopped her car and bought a lamp before I even left the parking lot!! So I came home and have another batch to take in.Going through cupboards always asking myself "do I really need this"Then on to the filing cabinet. I filled the recycling can with old ridiculous unneeded bits of paper and files. Now that feels great!

This is from a 1920-30's valentines card. Something for all you knitters. I can make and do a lot of things but knitting is not one of them! Somewhere there is a little square of red wool but it is stored away.
