Thought you might like to see the latest batch of vintage Legacy buttons. Many are in excellent condition.I am amazed at how good a few of the pictures are. It took a lot of shots balancing my little camera with out a tripod. So all you button collectors visit the Legacy store in Sebastopol, CA. There are beautiful celluloid, carved Bakelite,a newer satsuma and two incredibly old navy pea coat buttons,I need to get these priced and into the store.!  Enjoy the pictures, much love, Louise

Hi everyone. Today I am so happy to share some photos of the Legacy! They only capture part of the store. A place to get lost in. A place to linger discovering little treasures in the nooks and cranny's. Since everything is donated you never know what you will find.Imagine you donated your entire craft or sewing room.

Sherry the wonderful manager who gave me the opportunity and encouragement to work at the Legacy. When the buttons needed to be passed on she asked me! One thing lead to another including my blog.

Hi everyone! Finally on the mend. The lab work came back and I do not have whooping cough. What was that Dr. thinking?

You have all been so wonderful with your get well wishes. It really helped when I was sickest and a few days ago when it felt like this is lasting forever.

Saturday I am going in to my dear Legacy. The button drawer is full again! That drawer fills up so fast. I have labeled some jars by button size that I will take in.

Today I have 7 yummy pictures and images for you. I just love things from the 1900-1930's! Especially children's clothing and pictures.

This hat is huge! I wonder how heavy and comfortable it is(or uncomfortable). This lovely Edwardian lady is so stylish. Can you believe that hat!

The angel painting butterfly wings is so so special. Just melts my heart so sweet.

A frame for scrap booking and other projects.

Circa 1915 Love this little ones expression.

The little girl with the veil is unique and stunning. The photograph  is decorated with specs of gold. If you use this in a project I would really love to see it.

Legacy Buttons Antique & Vintage, for collectors, artists, sewing & jewelry making

Finally some buttons on my blog! All the buttons belong to the Legacy thrift store. I should have them priced and take them in by the end of the week. So if you collect buttons or use them in your artful creations be sure and visit the store.

This is a very small enameled button. The enamel is a wonderful emerald green and not the black in the photo.
